Day 01: Arrive at Bangalore / Mysor (140 Kms / 4 Hrs):
Meet and greet at Bangalore Airport and proceed to Mysore, enroute visit Srirangapatna - Island fortress of Tippu Sultan, the legendary Tiger of Mysore who put up a valiant fight against British domination. Visit Tippu's Summer Palace, Mosque, and Srirangapatna Temple. On arrival at Mysore check in to Hotel Regaalis or similar. Lunch and rest of the day free. Overnight.

Day 02: Mysore / Coorg - Orange County (110 Hrs / 2 Hrs):
Morning breakfast, checkout at 09.00hrs and proceed to visit Maharaja Palace -built in 1911-12 by Wodeyar Rulers, the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dussara celebrations. Leave Mysore at 10.30hrs and proceed to Coorg, on arrival check in to your air-conditioned tents or cottages at Orange County, lunch and relax. Overnight.

Day 03: Coorg:
Morning breakfast, proceed to Dubare Elephant camp to reach at 08.00hrs, interaction with elephants, bath them, prepare their food and feed them, ride them to Nagarahole National park. There on proceed to Bylakuppe, the Tibetan settlements, visit the Golden temple, Buddists University, and monastry, arrive at the camp for lunch. Rest of the day free. Overnight.

Day 04: Coorg / Nagarahole - Kabini River Lodge (125 Kms / 3 Hrs):
Morning breakfast, check out and proceed to Kabini River Lodge - Nestled in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National Park, the Kabini River Lodge is a perfect getaway for nature lovers. The breathtaking locale with the tranquil backwaters of the River Kabini presents an ideal setting for a long-awaited vacation. Once the hunting lodge of the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore, Kabini River Lodge is today rated by the British Tatler's Travel Guide as one of the top 5 wildlife resorts in the world. Kabini is pure elephant country as one can see numerous herds at a time. However, the blaze of the elusive tiger always haunts you as you roam through the verdant jungle here. Once widely known for the mass elephant-trapping operations called 'Khedda', Kabini stands as the one of the brightest beacons for wildlife preservation in India today. Your programme starts as soon as you check in to the resort. Treat yourself to a sumptuous lunch at the Gol Ghar. A naturalist take you on a wildlife jeep safari into the Nagarahole National Park, showing & sharing with you their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there. Watch a wildlife movie as you gulp beer at the Viceroy's building. And later on dinner at Gol Ghar. Over night.

Day 05: Nagarahole - Kabini River Lodge:
Morning wake up to a early morning hot cup of tea/coffee. Cruise through the serene backwaters of the Kabini River on a motorboat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds, intent on their morning catch. View a variety of wildlife, especially the elephants, coming to the river for bath or a drink. Alternatively, you can go on a jeep safari to sight the animals, and have a ride on the elephant in the jungle, which means you can have the boat ride the evening before. Breakfast and relax. Later on in the afternoon treat yourself to a sumptuous lunch at the Gol Ghar. A naturalist take you on a wildlife jeep safari into the Nagarahole National Park, showing & sharing with you their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there. Watch a wildlife movie as you gulp beer at the Viceroy's building. And later on dinner at Gol Ghar. Over night.

 

Day 06: Kabini River Lodge / Wayanad - Tree Tops(120 kms/3 hrs):
At 0630hrs after coffee/tea proceed to wildlife sanctuary for coracle (local boat)and elephant ride (subject to availability of elephant). After breakfast check out and proceed to Wayanad. On arrival check into Tree Tops or similar. Lunch and relax. Later in the evening visit Pookot Lake - 3 km south of Vythiri town, a natural fresh water lake surrounded by evergreen forest and rolling hills. A fresh water aquarium with large variety of fish is an added attraction. Tourists can also avail of boating facilities, children's park, and a shopping centre for handicrafts and spices. Return back to the resort and dinner, overnight.

Day 07: Wayanad:
Morning breakfast, relax or go for half day tour to explore Wayanad, visit to Banasura Project, Padinjarathara - The picturesque Banasura Project is the largest earthern dam in India and the second largest in Asia. Located in the midst of lovely, mist-clad hills with a wildlife sanctuary and park full of flowering trees, this spot of enchantment has no parallel elsewhere. With its placid crystal clear waters Banasura is a wonderful picnic spot. Edakkal caves - What kind of people were our ancestors What kind of lives did they lead Often, the paths leading to the answers to these questions are as fascinating as the answers themselves. If you would like to walk a little way along one such wonderful path of discovery, one good place to visit would be the Edakkal caves in the Ambukuthi Hills in north Kerala, considered to be one of the earliest centres of human habitation. Inside the cave you will find ancient stone scripts, pictorial wall inscriptions of human and animal figures with peculiar head dresses, the swastik form, symbols and cave drawings of human figures, wheels, bows, knives, trees and so on. Similar cave drawings, considered to be 7000 years old, are found only in Stiriya in the European Alps and a few rocky places in Africa. Return back to resort for lunch. Afternoon free to relax. Evening dinner and overnight.

Day 08: Wayanad / Calicut - Kadavu (85 Kms / 2 Hrs):
Morning breakfast and check out of the resort and proceed to Calicut. On arrival check into Kadavu Resort or similar. Lunch and relax. In the evening visit to Kozhikode Beach - is a favourite haunt of sunset viewers. Its natural beauty and old world charm makes it a dreamy place to visit. The beach has an old lighthouse and two crumbling piers running into the sea, each more than a hundred years old. Return to resort, dinner and overnight.

Day 09: Calicut / Cochin (220 Kms / 4 Hrs):
Morning breakfast and check out of the resort and proceed to Cochin. On arrival check in at Taj Malabar or similar. Lunch and relax. In the evening visit to Cochin City for shopping or go around the city streets. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 10: Cochin / Alleppey - House Boat (70 Kms / 1 ½ Hrs):
Morning breakfast and check out of the Resort and proceed to Alleppey fishing point to board your air-conditioned house boat. The houseboat takes you around the backwaters of Alleppey and Kumarakom. All meals are provided in the houseboat. Overnight in the houseboat.

Day 11: Alleppey / Kumarakom:
Morning breakfast in the houseboat, and check out of the houseboat on arrival at Kumarakom and check in to Kumarakom Lake Resort or similar. Lunch and relax. Evening visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - The bird sanctuary here, which is spread across 14 acres, is a favorite haunt of migratory birds and an ornithologist's paradise. Egrets, darters, herons, teal, waterfowl, cuckoo, wild duck and migratory birds like the Siberian stork that live here in flocks are a fascination for visitors. The best way to watch the birds of the Kumarakom sanctuary is a boat trip round the islands. Return back to the resort, dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Kumarakom:
Morning breakfast and full day sightseeing, visit to Arvikkuzhi Waterfalls - 2 km down a mud lane from Kumarakom is this beautiful picnic spot where streams tinkle as they make their way through the landscape and waters roar as they cascade down the mountains from a height of 100 ft. Vazhikkadavu - On the outskirts of the district is this hill station of rocky terrains sought after for its pristine nature. On one side of the main rock are extremely tall and steep rocks and on the other is a valley of fearful depth. Bordering this crude landscape like a silver lace is the Meenachil River. Kurisumala - 3km from Vazhikkadavu is this renowned Christian pilgrim centre where hundreds of devotees from far and near converge during the holy week and after, to climb the hill in faith, carrying small wooden crosses. The peaceful Monastry at the top of the hill, the silence of the hills, the cool mountain air and the lush green landscape are all soothing to the soul. Return to the resort, dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Kumarakom / Trivandurm - Kovalam(160kms / 3hours):
Morning breakfast and check out of the hotel and proceed to Poovar. On arrival check into Poovar Island or similar, lunch and relax. In the evening relax at the beach. Overnight.

Day 14: Kovalam or Poovar:
Morning breakfast and relax for the whole day or visit Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) to go around the streets for shopping. Overnight.

Day 15: Kovalam / Poovar / Bangalore:
Morning breakfast and check out of the hotel and drop to Thiruvananthapuram airport to board your flight to Bangalore. Meet on arrival and transfer to hotel St1 Marks or similar. Evening shopping at Bangalore famous Brigade road and dinner. Overnight.

Day 16: Bangalore / London:
Early morning check out and proceed to Bangalore International Airport to board your flight to London. Tour Ends
